Katerine X. Garcia
Katerine is a friendly and kind girl who attends a school near Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Her teachers report she has adjusted well to the school and is making average progress in her studies. Katerine likes learning to read, singing songs, and playing dolls with her girlfriends at school. She lives with her parents, brother, and sister in a small brick house with a roof made out of sheet metal. Katerine's father provides a meager subsistence living for the family as a mechanic, while her mother tends to the household duties.
